Can I use my building all year round?
You can use your building all year round. However, single-clad
buildings lose heat very quickly causing condensation. 70% of a
buildings heat is lost through the floor and roof. Soft furnishings
may appear damp and tools and metals might show some rust.
If you want to use your building as a regular living space we
recommend that you choose a building that is lined, insulated and
double glazed such as a log cabin or summerhouse. This combined with an
electrics package that includes a heater, will prevent all
condensation and can be used all year round.
Are there any limitations on what I can use my building
for?
There's no limit to what you can do with your building! You can
use it as a garden
office, gym, hobby room, play room, an extension to your home
or a workshop, as
storage space, as a garage, or a darkroom, or simply as a shed or summerhouse.
